Mangaluru: Public lecture 'The Economic Slowdown' to be held by St Aloysius College on Sep 23

Mangaluru, Sep 19: The department of Economics, St Aloysius College, is organizing a public lecture on 'The Economic Slowdown' by Dr Nagaraj Rayaprolu, professor, Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai on Monday September 23 at 11.00 am at LCRI Hall of the college.

Prof Nagaraj is a well-known and highly respected expert on the Political Economy of Contemporary India. He has done extensive policy related research on Indian Economy as well as served in several important committees and advisory boards constituted by the Planning Commission, Central Statistical Organisation and various state governments.

Fr Dr Praveen Martis SJ, principal, St Aloysius College (Autonomous) will preside over the public lecture.

Interested public can attend the public lecture by confirming their participation with Dr Norbert Lobo, head, dept of Economics, St Aloysius College, Mangaluru before Saturday September 21.

The public lecture will be followed by interaction with the resource person.
