Bantwal: Training on Konkani traditional songs inaugurated at Agrar

Bantwal, Sep 17: The training workshop on Konkani traditional songs that is conducted by Mandd Sobhann began with the cooperation of choir group of Agrar church on Sunday, September 15 in the auditorium of the church. Another part of the workshop will be held on September 22. 

The programme was inaugurated by Pius L Rodrigues, vice president of parish council. Sr Ida, Vincent Carlo, Clementin Noronha, president of choir group and Preetha Sequeira were present on the dais. The programme was compered by Jasmine Lobo.

After the stage programme, the training was given by Vishwa Konkani Kalaratna Eric Ozario. Kingsley Nazareth, Alron Rodrigues, Jason Lobo, Diyal D'Souza and Olita Gurupur cooperated.



Eighty-five aspirants of Loretto, Farla and Agrar areas took part in the programme. The valedictory function of the training programme will be held on September 22.
