Udupi: Shirva deanery Catholic Sabha holds seminar on Indian Constitution

Udupi, Sep 16: Catholic Sabha Shirva Varado organised informative seminar on Indian Constitution at Don Bosco Audio Visual Hall, Shirva on Sunday, September 15. Eminent lawyer and notary Ln Wilson Rodrigues was the resource person.

In his speech, he gave detailed information about the Constitution He mentioned that the Constitution is the written law of rules and regulation of the country for the benefit of its citizens. He said that every citizen has various fundamental rights and he briefly explained about it. “Most of the citizens are ignorant of their rights and therefore face problems. It is necessary for every citizen to get proper knowledge about the Constitution,” he said.



The stage programme started with the prayer recited by the members of Pernal unit. Ida Cornelio, president welcomed the gathering. Secretary Jacinta D Souza, treasurer Mathias Lobo, president-elect Sevrine Dsouza, and central committee treasurer Jerald Rodrigues were present.
