Karkala, Sep 15: On the occasion of Engineers day, on September 15, a bust of Sir M Visveswarya was erected and unveiled near the entrance of new Sir M Visveswarya academic block of NMAMIT Nitte which houses Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering Department.
The bust is designed and made by the artist Srinath Manipal.
"The presence of this bust will definitely motivate all the engineering students and faculty," said principal Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar during the unveiling ceremony.
