Udupi: Skill based employment training workshop held in St Mary College, Shirva

Udupi, Sep 14: “Youths should refrain from spending time on internet applications such as facebook and whatsapp. College teachers and parents need to create awareness among them in the current competitive era. Students should inculcate values since student days, obtain information on employment opportunities and prepare for competitive examinations,” said Abhijit Karkera. He was speaking as the resource person in the skill based employment training held in Shirva St Mary College.

College principal Professor V N Rajan chaired the workshop. Skill guidance and employment cell director Lieutenant Professor K Pravin Kumar explained the purpose of the programme and gave an introduction.

All the first year degree students, teaching and non-teaching staff were present. Unit co director Tanuja N Suvarna welcomed. Priyanka sang a prayer. Harshita thanked and Akanksha Suvarna compered the programme.
