Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Sep 14: Former chief minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah, and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president Dinesh Gundu Rao, who were in New Delhi for two days to hold discussions over the appointment of the leader of the opposition in the state assembly and office bearers of the party, had to return empty-handed.

It is learnt that they could not hold discussions with interim president of All India Congress Committee, Sonia Gandhi, as they could not meet her to discuss this issue. Both the leaders had aimed at holding consultation with Sonia Gandhi on the above issues and finalize the names.

It is said that Sonia Gandhi was busy taking part in other meetings of the party and therefore could not give time for the state Congress leaders to meet her. The leaders were given an opportunity to meet her at New Delhi on Saturday but a meeting of party leaders had already been planned by the state leadership at the party office here on Saturday about preparations for the by-poll in constituencies represented by the 17 disqualified legislators of the state.

As both Siddaramaiah and Dinesh Gundu Rao had to participate in the said meeting, both of them returned on Friday night itself, it is gathered.

The party must consider mass leader who can establish relationship with everybody and not actors type leader. He must bind by party principles and threatening the party. Those leader should be listed. The marks card in parliament election is gon hand. Bring energetic leader who can bring together party workers and not dividing party

So "hoda putta bandha putta". If a party can't choose an oppostion leader in last nearly 50 days what we can expect from such party. Shame on such leader who can't decide who should be the leader in Assembly

Yallara mane dosenu tute, forgot about floods? How much compensation has been announced? Nor the central nor the state have announced anything till date. Simply showing off foreign trips, shows in national geographic but when it comes to administration, zero. We expected that if same govts in both places it will benefit us, saawda benefit. The state govt leaders don't even have the guts to talk anything against the central govt, worse than any previous opposite govts.
