D K Shivakumar remanded to ED custody till Sept 17

New Delhi, Sep 13 (IANS): A Delhi court on Friday remanded Congress leader D K Shivakumar to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody till September 17 in a money laundering case.

The judge asked the ED to take him to a doctor, take care of his medical condition and then question him.

 


The ED had sought five-day custody. Opposing the plea, Shivakumar's counsel Abhishek Manu Singhvi submitted that his client was suffering from serious medical ailments, including high blood pressure.

    ED has reached half investigation already 800 crore benami assets and 200 crore money laundering is unearthed.

    If proper investigation is conducted more will come out.

    We welcome political vendetta if more such looting is unearthed. Let all parties do it and reveal each other's secret wealth.

    Why Shobakka spared even after having 400 + crores coffee estate, one working as a typist in a office???
    *even Nitin Gadkari got companies registered in his driver and peons name which sign Boards published in media and drivers and peons not aware that they are the owners if company worth in crores!

    He will get clean chit from all the angles
    Once his ED custody over , he will be sent to Tihar jail
    After sometimes, he will get conditional bail .
    Once he is out on bail , his lawyer will fight to get him free till he become free bird

    We have seen pappu who is out on bail from a long period and still fighting many cases and see the effect he lost in Amethi and his party lost PAN INDIA

    No offense, but that is the problem. Law is the same for everyone, but misused in the hands of those in power. But again i have my doubts. Look at the Reddys. Everyone knows how they became filthy rich super fast. Crores and crores of our iron ore stolen, but look at the punishment they got, and look at one of them in the current cabinet. Law favours the ones in power.

    Janardhana Reddy is a very innocent man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He is also a very religious man....he has donated 35 crores diamond crown to Lord Balaji in Tirupati and also has one more same, identical crown to his favourite Lord at his home in Bellary...Please don't bring up Janardhana Reddy Sir, name unnecessarily.
