Panaji, Sep 6: Burglars tried to rob an Indian Overseas Bank branch at Savoi Verem between Sunday and Tuesday. The bank was closed for Ganesh holidays and the matter came to light on Wednesday morning when the bank staff came to open the branch.

As reported in TOI, sources told the publication that unidentified miscreants entered the bank by detaching the iron rods of the windows using gas cutters.
