Hassan, Aug 31: In a heartless act, a daughter got her father killed by paying Rs 15 lac supari. This incident has come to light in the city. The police have arrested three people in this connection including the daughter and her paramour.
The arrested are identified as Vidya, her lover Chidananda and Raghu. Though Vidya was already married, she had deserted her husband and was roaming around with her paramour Chidanand. Vidya's father Muniraju, who noticed the immoral act of his daughter, advised her against her behaviour. Vidya, who got enraged by father's advice got him killed with the help of lover Chidanand and Raghu on August 23 and threw his body to the backwaters of Hemavati river.
Acting innocent, Vidya registered a complaint with the Hirisave police saying that her father has gone missing. However, Muniraju's body, who was killed using axe, cable and knife, was found at Maniganahalli of Malur. When the police subjected Vidya to intensive interrogation, the truth came to light.
