Sivagiri is a pilgrimage center in Varkala municipality of Trivandrum where the tomb of the Bhagavan Sree Narayana Guru is. SNDP Yogam's political wing Bharat Dharma Jana Sena. Narayana Guru (August 28, 1855 – September 20, 1928) was a spiritual leader and social reformer in India. Born into a family of the Ezhava caste in an era when people from such communities were regarded as Avarna. He led a reform movement in Kerala, against the injustice in the caste-ridden society of Kerala in order to promote social equality.

Bharat Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS) is a political party in Kerala, India which is led by Thushar Vellapally, the son of the General Secretary of the SNDP Yogam.

The priest, who headed the Sivagiri Mutt, a spiritual center of the Ezhava community, died on July 2002 while bathing in the Periyar river. The death of Swami Saswathikananda is definitely a murder, said Swami Prakashanandha of Sivagiri mutt. Even 13 years passed to date this is still Swamiji's death is still a mystery. Swami Prakashanandha asked how could the Swami drown when he was a good swimmer and had been familiar with the bathing ghat.

The development has serious political connotations since the political target of the allegation is Vellappally Natesan, general secretary of the Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam, which warmed up to the Bharatiya Janata Party for an alliance.

Tushar Vellappally NDA candidate against Rahul Gandhi is not involved in the cheating case but also responsible for the mysterious death of Swami Saswathikananda as many Keralites believe.

Now with the visit of PM Modi on Saturday, soon he will be released from UAE on the diplomatic channel.

But for Keralites Bharat Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS) politics definitely against the teaching of the Sree Narayana Guru.
