Mangaluru: New BJP state president Nalin given grand welcome in city

Mangaluru, Aug 20: Member of Parliament (MP), Nalin Kumar Kateel, who was appointed as state BJP president  arrived in city late night on on Tuesday, August 21. He was accorded a grand welcome by party workers and friends. 

When he was made the BJP president, he was in Kerala and after hearing the news, he started his journey to city.

Nalin Kumar is three-time MP from Dakshina Kannada. He belongs to strong Bunts community. When no one from Dakshina Kannada was chosen as minister, people from the district were unhappy. Now with Nalin being made BJP president, it is believed that the district is properly honoured. 



 

B S Yediyurappa was serving as BJP president in the state. After he became the chief minister, he held both the posts. Yediyurappa formed 17-member cabinet on Tuesday.
