Belagavi: MP Anantkumar Hegde comes under fire from people in distress

Daijiworld Media Network - Belagavi (SP)

Belagavi, Aug 13: Flood-affected people on Monday, August 12, took MP Anantkumar Hegde, to task for failing to give concrete assurances to the people who are reeling under problems created by the recent deluge.

The MP had visited the relief centre in Neginahala village in the district on Monday. The people told him that he and other political leaders are more interested in seeking votes from the people, but when the people are facing problems these leaders have no time to tend an ear to them.

The local journalists told the MP that because of flood and also breaching of the walls of reservoir and some lakes, the entire Neginahala village has been washed away and over 400 houses have been damaged. They urged Hegde to declare the entire village as having been completely submerged and provide for rehabilitation of all the villagers elsewhere.

When the discussions reached a higher pitch, both MP Hegde and Kittur MLA Mahantesh Dodagoudara, left the meeting, saying that they would not speak unless the video taping of the proceedings is not stopped forthwith.

This guy has been voted based on communal agenda, not for development . his campaign speech also was also based on hindutva not on development.

Now during this situation , he will tell public that "this flood is artificially made to wipe out minorities from this region" and public will be like "ohhhhh like that and then again Modi!! modi!!"

    Sad but true.

Other than talking, Anant Kumar knows nothing. Not that there is better person in politics , everyone is same. We are still following ancestral rules to elect our politicians. We need a reform, why not politicians to have certain qualifications to be a minister? Like pass IAS, IPS similarly have something called IBPS - Indian Behaving Political Service. Only those who pass should be allowed to contest in elections. Currently the system allows only those who are good at spreading hatred and talk ill about other religion. Until we see these reforms, good luck to us with mostly uneducated, un-behaving politicians/ministers.

I'm sorry to say this, but the people that made him win with a thumping majority deserve this. By the time the next election comes, there is enough time to forget about this episode. He will be re-elected because of sentiments, not because of logic.

While voting you people did not think that you need someone who cares for you in distress. How loudly you shouted during election to support your candidate. Now they are saying they would not speak to you, how you feel with that ?

paying for your wrongly voting in name of religion and caste, rather than voting for honest MLA and MP on their work.... Karma hunts ...

Vote again with more margin in name of religion and caste next time.... , people will never learn lesson...

He knew KOI UKAD NAHI SAKTHA !! These people are elected because of money power and they invested in Politics ! not for those voters who are really emotional fools and losers of the day ! Now you should beg for them and no time for the listening ! then elected for what purpose only to increase the numbers in PARLIAMENT so MODI can become again KING !
