Mangaluru, Aug 5: The pre-conference course of IACDE 2nd south zonal conference 2019 (zone 4) will be hosted by A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences along with the Endo Alumni Meet 2019 on August 8.

The programme will be inaugurated by Vishal Hegde, pro-chancellor (admin), Nitte (deemed to be university).

Eminent senior Endodontic consultant from Mumbai, Dr Nandana Patel will deliver a guest lecture on 'Attitude of Endodontists towards shaping treatment outcomes' prior to the inaugural session.

Two pre-conference courses have been organized for the participants, bringing innovation to visualization – CAD/CAM and Cone BeamCT – State of the Art Care in Restorative Dentistry by Dr Vijay SimhaRaju, Dr Hari S Prabhu, Dr Supriya Bhat and endodontic itinerary by Dr Pavan Kumar.

The course will encompass lectures, demonstration and hands–on sessions. Endo alumni meet 2019 will enable the alumni to participate in the pre-conference sessions and provide exposure to latest techniques and materials available.
