Bantwal: Passenger dies in bus due to cardiac arrest

Bantwal, Jul 24: A man died while seated inside the bus that was moving to Mangaluru from Mysuru on the night of Tuesday, July 23 as he suffered cardia arrest.

The deceased in identified as Manjunath Bhat (75), a resident of Athani of Belagavi district. He was a RSS worker. His co-passenger alerted the conductor of the bus, when it reached Melkar of Bantwal taluk.

The bus was stopped at B C Road and information was given to Bantwal city police station. A case in this regard is registered and police are investigating further.
