Ramanagara: 18-month-old drowns in utensil filled with water

Ramanagara, Jul 24: In a tragic incident which happened at Melekote Colony in Kanakapura in the district on Tuesday July 23, a one-and-half year old child accidentally drowned in water collected in a utensil.

The victim of this incident was Tansuh, son of Kavya and Narayana couple residing in Melekote Colony on Ramanagara road in Kanakapura.

As water is being supplied to the colony once a week, the couple had collected water in all kinds of buckets and utensils inside the house for use. Tansuh, when playing in the house, accidentally fell into a utensil filled with water. But his parents who were busy with their respective works, had noticed this incident. After sometime, they went in search of the child and found his body in a utensil.
