Mangaluru, Jul 23: St Agnes College (autonomous) recently organised a faculty development programme.

Fr Alvito Feranades OCD, was speaker for the first session of the day. He Alvito, enlightened the gathering on the purpose of work and love of God. He stressed on bringing or sharing the love of God at the workplace and in the classroom which is a virtue that needs to be built in one for self-growth. He urged each present there to be a role model to their students which could be achieved only by making God the centre of their life.

It was a very interactive session wherein many of the faculty shared their views for the examination of self-growth and in bringing love of God to all.



Sheryl Preethika, on behalf of all present thanked Fr Alvito for sharing his knowledge with them.

After a quick tea break, Brayan Fernandes was introduced to the gathering by Asha as the second speaker of the day. Brayan, an academician presented a complete idea about professionalism to the gathering. He gave certain measures on being a happy worker and also shared with them how to showcase one’s professionalism. He engaged the faculty in lot of discussions which kept the gathering active and lively.

The afternoon session began with an active group discussion on a set of questions given for the all round development of the college. Every group gave in their valuable suggestions keeping in mind the rules and regulations of the college.
