Goa : Burglars decamp with the ATM machine

Panaji, Jul 22: In a daring heist, burglars escaped with the ATM machine of a private bank at its Colvale site containing cash of Rs 10.66 lakh. The ATM machine was later found at Revora on Sunday evening, broken open.  

The bank officials came to know about the incident when they were informed by the locals and immediately they got in touch with Mapusa police, who sent a team to the site for investigation.
 
 
The Mapusa police said the bank manager has filed a police complainant against unknown persons for the theft of Rs 10.66 lakh cash as well as the loss of around Rs 5 lakh as the cost of the machine.
