Karkala: Nandalike Abbanadka Friends creates awareness against plastic

Karkala, Jul 20: Plastic is being used widely in several items such as plates, water bottles, plastic cups, plastic bags etc. It is necessary to create increased awareness of its ills.

Members of Abbanadka Friends Club joined and in order to create awareness on use of plastic items, collected plastic water bottles and soft drink bottles thrown beside roads. They filled the containers with manure and planted seeds in them.

Several unique programmes are being held under Swatch Bharath Summer Internship programme in association with Nandalike Abbanadka Durgaparameshwari Friends Club.



Nandalike Abbananka Friends Club president Rajesh Kotian, convener Abbanadka Sandeep V Poojary, programme director Abbanadka Sathish Poojary, secretary Prashanth Poojary, ladies wing secretary Sandhya Shetty, Lalitha Acharya, Vidin, Niya, Sparsh and others were present.
