Mangaluru, Jul 19: Karanataka state government department of fisheries, Karnataka Fisheries Development Corporation and Pilikula Nisargadhama will be hosting fish carnival and the festival of the Nisargadhama at its premises on July 21. Fish seedlings will be let in the lake on the day.
The programme is a golden opportunity for fish lovers. Various categories of fish grown in the garden lake will be caught and auctioned till it gets over.
Karnataka fisheries Development Corporation has made arrangement for sale of sweet water fish. Besides that, several fish delicacies will be prepared out of fish caught for spot sale.
There will also be exhibition of varieties of fish including aquarium fish. The organizers have requested people to participate in large numbers and make the programme a success.
