Bengaluru, Jul 18: Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala has written a letter to chief minister H D Kumaraswamy asking to prove majority on the floor of the Assembly by the way of trust vote by 1:30 pm on Friday, July 19.

Though trust vote was scheduled on Thursday, July 18, it could not be held for various reasons that included arguments by Congress, JD (S) and BJP members. During the speech of chief minister, a point of order was also raised by coalition coordination committee chairman Siddaramaiah.

In addition, many leaders from the coalition raised various points which BJP repeatedly objected. Later after lunch, a 5-member delegation went to meet the Governor requesting to direct the Speaker to hold trust vote at the soonest.

A senior officer from the Governor’s office was sent to the Speaker who met him and also observed the Assembly proceedings after that.

Some Congress members openly objected to the ‘interference‘ from Governor. Later reports said that Governor has written a letter to chief minister to hold trust vote by 1.30 pm on Friday.

It is yet to be seen what new weapon the coalition will use to win the trust vote or to postpone it.

Power hunger of political parties reminds of jungle war between big cats and hyenas, not ready to leave and the other one grab it by anyway with the help of another entry. Ultimately people are the victims. Grab power by hook or crook is a dangerous trend across the country!. God save India and its people. Not to allow our state and its resources get looted.
