Illegal immigrants will be identified and deported, Amit Shah

New Delhi, Jul 17: Responding to a question asked by Samajwadi Party member Javed Ali Khan on the implementation of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in all the states, Home Minister Amit Shah, on Wednesday, assured in Rajya Sabha that the government will take immediate action on identifying and deporting illegal immigrants as per international law.

Amit Shah said "It is a very good question. The NRC is part of the Assam Accord and was also in (BJP's) election manifesto based on which the government has come to power. The government will identify illegal immigrants living on every inch of the country's soil and will deport them as per the international law," as per PTI source.

Though the deadline for final publication of the registered data has been set as July 31 by the Supreme Court in Assam, the centre has received many representations for extending the NRC deadline in Assam. Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai said "Since many genuine names have been left out and many bogus names are registered, the government has requested the (Supreme) Court to extend the time for this purpose." He also assured that the NRC will be implemented properly without any faults even if there is a delay.

When questions regarding Rohingya Muslims in India popped up, Rai said the government it trying to get all data about them but it is difficult to get accurate information since they are widely spread across the country.

This was your 2014 agenda. If you had started it soon after taking up governance, there could have been no illegal immigrant in the country by the end of five years. What are you waiting for ?

    Jennifer, Mangalore,
Please ensure you have all documents in order. An army officer who served the country for 30 years was not part of the NRC list and they detained him.

Amit Shah Said "The Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists and Jains need not worry. Only infiltrators should. We will throw these infiltrators out. The NRC will not be only for Bengal, but for the whole country,”

He clearly says if you are a Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist and Jain, you are a refugee, nationality will be given.
If you are a Muslim or Christian, you are an infiltrators, and you will be driven out.
What more clarification we need, their agenda is crystal clear.

What kind peace you love, gentleman ? You are in a way intimidating Christians and Muslims. Please note, as long as a Christian and Muslim person has proof that s/he is born in India, Shah or anybody above him can't even move a hair of that citizen. You need not caution me to keep my papers ready, I know my routes.

Hindus/Sikhs/Jains/Buddhists are a reference because there are cases that these people have been driven out of their country hence they took refuge in India. I do understand what Shah has said and my reminder to him to have started deportation in 2014 was resolute.
