Mangaluru, Jul 17: “We are confident of proving the majority in trust vote and our coalition government is stable,” said district in-charge minister U T Khader.

Addressing the media here on Wednesday, July 17, U T Khader said, "Coalition government is like a family. The trust vote will be carried out. We are confident of proving majority on the floor of the assembly and our government will not be toppled.”

“The chief minister has asked the permission for the trust vote for which the speaker has given the permission, everyone has a chance to express their opinion and discussion will be held,” he said.

Khader also said, "There is good news for the police department. The long-pending demand of them is fulfilled as the government has given the police a hike in salary. The government has accepted the Auradkar committee report with regards to the hike in salary of the police personnel.”

With regards to the tollgate issue, U T Khader said, "The central government and ministry of highways need to take the initiative to come up with a permanent solution for the tollgate issue. We have discussed the matter with the PWD chief secretary and have asked NHAI to give a detailed report of it. We have asked the deputy commissioner to collect the concession document agreement from the NHAI and look in to it and implement it as per the agreement.”

“PWD department has asked for the detailed report. Once the report arrives, decision will be taken. Suratkal tollgate is totally unscientific. Suratkal tollgate was formed, before the construction of Hejmady tollgate, with the intention of merging it with the Hejmady tollgate, once its construction was over. However now, even after the formation of the Hejmady tollgate, the Suratkal tollgate is continuing to function, which is wrong.

“We will also seek permission to take delegation to Delhi, in order to hold meeting with the officials of NHAI and ministers to discuss on the ongoing highway issues," said Khader.

My observation is that this statement of U T Khader is boosting self confidence in himself. Its good for him to boost his self confidence nothing wring. But how about doing good work for people in Dakshina Kannada and boost public confidence. People of Dakshina Kannada and whole of Karnataka have Zero confidence in Congress and JDS.
We look forward for a BJP led government in Karnataka tommorow so that there is people chosen, people friendly BJP which Karnataka voted for in 2018 which was hijacked by Congress JDS unholy alliance which made each Indian citizens future in Karnataka hanging in balance since 2018 till date. Time has come Karnataka has Congress mukht, BJP government which considers sab ka saath, sab ka Vikas, sab ka vishwas considering the minorities like us Christians Nd brother Muslims in inclusive growth of Karnataka. What is good for Karnataka and what is God's will for Karnataka should happen. This is our prayer as citizens of Karnataka.

    Dear Brian,
I have no idea where is sabka vikas with BJP. It is only amir logo ka vikas cz we middle class are suffering. When congress was ruling there were many types of taxes but it didnt seem like a burden to us. Today this GST feels like a real burden because every small thing is levied with it.
The alliance that you say is unholy , remember the constitution has this provision of alliance and if u combine people mandate then they sure have a majority than the BJP. 2ndly if u want an example of unholy alliance then its bihar where BJP with 2 seats has formed govt using the same provision. Why no fingers pointed there?
With BJP at national we have seen the chaos of right wing activists in the state and in India at large. If karnataka is ruled by yeddy then it is the endof it. Moral policing will be a usual thing and corrupfion will be at the highest. No one in politics is clean but trust me yeddy is more greedy than any of the other politicians. And u seem to not be aware of the development and public works done by congress before 2018 but sadly people of Karnataka do not like people who do good for them.
And the things and works the BJP has taken up at national level were all planned and initiated by congress whereas Modi has publicized it. There were provisions to open accts for the poor, the aadhaar was introduced by congress and its benefits areimplemented by BJP. Lot of other schemes and yojannas are same as of congress but only names are changed and advertised.
And after u know that yeddy has proclaimed that the present Karnataka Nataka has some involvement from BJP national leaders they worked begind the scenes to topple the govt so u can imagine the greed for power the BJP has. Soon other states will follow.
If you say BJP is people friendly and works for people then why the most literate state in India that is kerala why they dont have BJP there? Why the people of Kerala dont encourage them? THEY ARE EDUCATED HUMANBEINGS AND KNOW HOW THE BJP WORKS...
