Bengaluru, Jul 17: Congress MLA, Tanveer Sait, has ridiculed the BJP by pointing out that the saffron party's falsehood in claiming that it had no role in former minister, Roshan Baig's resignation, has been exposed.
Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, he noted that BJP leaders were the ones who escorted MLA, M T B Nagaraj, to Mumbai. He also said that everyone knows who were there to take Roshan Baig to Mumbai from the city. He compared the situation the BJP finds itself in, to the cat drinking milk with its eyes closed, in the belief that no one else is watching it.
Sait said that his party believes that the Supreme Court will deliver a verdict that is in tune with the stand taken by the assembly speaker. He therefore said he is confident that the coalition government would be able to prove its majority on the floor of the house.
