Mangaluru, Jul 15: The inaugural ceremony of the student cabinet for the academic year 2019-20 took place on Saturday July 13 at the college PU auditorium.

Rajni Lobo Patrao, PGDIB, alumna was chief guest at the programme.

Among the dignitaries present at the ceremony were Sr Dr Jeswina AC, principal, Sr M Carmel Rita AC, administrator, Sr Dr M Venissa AC, vice principal, Sr Dr M Vinora AC, PG co-ordinator, registrar, IQAC coordinator, dean administration, deans, the PTA executive committee members and parents, alumni, faculty and UG and PG students of the college.

The student cabinet comprises 29 members who are elected by the student body; the cabinet is a representational body of leaders at student level. The PG student president Anna Una Crasta and UG student president Jerusha Maben took the oath administered by the principal along with eight vice presidents and 19 members of the student cabinet.

The theme that the cabinet has adopted for the year 2019-20 is: 'Individually we are one drop, together we are an ocean'.

Rajni Lobo Patrao in her address inspired and guided the new cabinet from her own experience as the privileged student president of St Agnes College in the millennium year 2000-2001 and her working experience in the corporate world as well as creative field.
