Kalaburagi, Jul 14: There is an old saying in Kannada 'Undoo Hoda, Kondoo Hoda' (He ate as well looted everything). In a case of theft that occurred In the taluk of Jevargi in the district a gang of thieves not only looted the gold and valuables but also took the dinner that the family had prepared.
 
A gang of five masked men entered into a house on the outskirts of the town of Jevargi. They showed lethal weapons and tied the hands of the inmates of the house. The gang looted the golden ornaments and took the dinner while leaving.
 
The house belonged to pharmacist of primary health care center of Andola, Rajendra Shirasyada. The gang of masked men, who were speaking in Hindi, entered the house in the late night on Friday. They brandished knives, swords and rods and took the 15 tolas of gold that was kept in the almirah and Rs 16,000. In addition, they took all the gold, Rajeshwari, wife of Rajendra was wearing and attacked for her nose ring. 
 
The strange thing is that the masked robbers were not satisfied with the valuables alone, they took the grains, household items and also the dinner that was prepared for the family.
 
A case in this connection is registered in the Jevargi police station. SP, Additional SP and other police officials visited the spot along with the dog squad.
