Sullia: Bus-car collision at Aramboor – Three dead, two injured

Sullia, Jul 14: In a ghastly accident that occurred on the morning of Sunday, July 14, at Aramboor near here three people died when the car, in which they were travelling, collided with a bus.
Two sustained injuries.

The car was trying to overtake an auto rickshaw, when it came in line of an oncoming bus. Manjula, a resident of Kolooru Madugere of Chennapatna taluk of Ramanagara district died while she was being taken to the hospital. Somanna and Nagendra, who were seriously injured in the collision, succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.

The KSRTC bus was plying from Mangaluru to Kollegal via Madikeri. The car was moving from Ramanagara to Mangaluru.

All the deceased are natives of Koloor Mudugere.

The other two passengers in the car, Tanmayi (12) and the Jayasheela are injured. They are being treated in the government hospital.
