Udupi, Jul 13: “The cooperation of staff is necessary for the development of cooperative sector. Therefore, we should work keeping in mind the directions of the center and the state government while working in that direction,” said Udupi cooperative union president Jayakar Shetty Indrali.
He was speaking in the workshop of personality development held by Zilla Sauharda Okkoota and Fortune Infoserve Private limited at Diana Hotel, AC auditorium here on Saturday, July 12.
The Okkoota president Manjunath S K said that the world is progressing fast and the economy also is developing. “We should make use of the changing technology and gain from it. We should encourage businesses that run on lower rates of interest. We can be good leaders by using technology properly,” he said.
Mangaluru Pranava Sauharda cooperative society president G R Prasad said that the condition of cooperative sector is bad and we should inspire to make it better. We should know about business. There are processes of merging banks in progress but it does not happen like that in cooperative sector. The sector should be made to respond to the needs of society,” he said.
Belagavi fortune infoserve private limited managing director Pravin Bangodi, Mangaluru’s Vishwa Belaku Sauharda cooperative society president Prakash Kotian, district Sauharda cooperative federation chief executive Bhuvanesh Prabhu were present.
