Karwar: Landslide near Ankola – Traffic on highway affected

Karwar, Jul 11: Due to a landslide near Ankola on the highway between Kumta and Dharwad, the traffic has been totally affected. 

As per initial reports, the landslide took place at around 3 am today morning. 

All the buses coming towards Mangaluru and other vehicles are stranded on the highway. 

Authorities are yet to take up the work of clearing the road properly. Some passengers complained that they are very slow.
