Udupi: Students of Podar International School take part in 'Into the Wild'

Udupi, Jul 6: Students of Podar International School in Udupi participated in the event ‘Into the wild’ for Integrated English, under the theme ‘Mystical Rainforests - Exploring Life under Nature’s Green Umbrella'.

Clifford Lobo, forest range officer Udupi, was the chief guest of the day. He interacted with students about the importance of forest in nature and shared his experiences with them.

The principal, M S Hiremath also gave some insight to students. There were various cultural programmes like tribal dance, puppet show and mime about saving trees, that were performed by the students. Students Ashnitha of grade VII was the anchor for the event, Drithika of grade VII welcomed the gathering and Samrudhi proposed the vote of thanks.
