Bengaluru: Siddaramaiah says sixth Operation Lotus attempt all set to doom

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jul 9: "People in the BJP do not have faith in parliamentary system of democracy. They are trying to topple a democratically elected government enjoying majority. This is their sixth 'Operation Lotus' attempt and this attempt will also fail like the earlier ones," said former chief minister and chairman of coalition government's coordination committee, Siddaramaiah.

Speaking to the media after attending a meeting held at the residence of deputy chief minister Dr G Parameshwara, he noted that BJP has not got majority in the election.

Siddaramaiah accused BJP leaders of trying to coerce and keep Congress MLAs under pressure by misusing institutions functioning under the union government. He charged Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and home minister, Amit Shah, of truing to destabilize the state government. He added that the sixth conspiracy to unseat the government is set to fail.

"We have some MLAs who are angry at not being given ministerial positions. To give them an opportunity, all the ministers have resigned from their posts in order to help the government survive by offering ministerial berths to disgruntled MLAs. They have expressed the opinion that individual status is not important for them but saving the government is. Therefore we will try to accommodate the unhappy MLAs by reorganizing the ministry soon," he stated.

Congress in-charge for Karnataka, K C Venugopal, accused the BJP of trying to topple state government run by opposition parties.

how we can blame bjp here? we all know how this coalition govt behaved. CM HDK always says the people that, you have not voted me, if you have any problem ask Modi. again in his budget he allocated the major portion of funds to 3 district only which related to JDS. As a CM he should allocate funds to every district for development. how can he neglected the constitution of BJP MLA?

Now come to siddaramayya case. first of all he doesn't like HDD or HDK. he was not interested in coalition govt with the help of JDS party. most of the time he shown his power to destabilise the govt. after parliament election congress party leader openly said that this coalition was badly affected congress party hence they get only 1 seat in Karnataka. hence the want to break this coalition.

in such a scenario how we can blame bjp for destabilising the govt. we should blame congress & jds for all these drama.

siddaramayya also a scripter for these drama. he only initiated this drama since he dont like HDD & HDK. unfortunately the end story is handled by some other people. now he don't have the control over this drama. his close supporters are in rebel group. their main agenda is to destabilise this coalition govt.

Glad to see all faithful members of Congress party together with Siddanna. Win or Defeat stand together. This is the right time to know who is faithful to the party and who is not.

We, the voters fight amongst ourselves on anything political . Any political post on daijiworld you will see comments like cow, sickular, chaddi, feku, pappu, anti Hindu , anti muslim etc. I would like to tell those people, to open their eyes and look at these MLAs. While you are fighting for them, these 'democratically' elected MLAs are busy counting money and living like kings in 5 star hotels. Farmers are dying, middle class are getting squeezed, crime is rising, but who cares. Their greed is so much that they have to be taken to posh hotels and locked up so that no one else calls them and offers more money . We feel so emotional about politics, we get angry at each other, abuse each other...when the truth is, these MLAs, MPs don't even care about you think unless their bank account is full. We are being fooled and acting like foolish puppets for the politicians. We need shame these low level polticians rather than fight with each other. Wake up!
