Mangaluru: Career guidance programme held at St Agnes PU College

Mangaluru, Jun 27: The mission for the day was encouraging the students to think beyond traditional career opportunities so as to prepare for future careers and gain an entrance into the workplace.

Under the aegis of ‘AGNITIO’, Department of Commerce, organized a career guidance programme for II PU Commerce students, held earlier in the day on Thursday, June 27, 2019.

The resource person for the day was Dr Catherine Nirmala, Associate Professor and HOD of Department of Post-Graduation studies in Commerce at St Agnes College. She spoke on various career avenues available for Commerce students and stressed on the means and ways to be adopted for selecting a great career.



Dr Catherine, gave the students an insight on present realities in the competitive job market. She advised them to be proficient and efficient, along with being a brand themselves.

The resource person was welcomed and introduced by Edrina Sequeira and the vote of thanks was rendered by Commerce Secretary, Naomi Pereira.
