Karkala, Jun 26: The waste outlet pipe of Anganwadi center, Ittameri in Belman gram panchayat limits has been breaking now and then. The pit is blocked for the last two years and it was set right by local friends club. The pit is filled again since the last six months and the drain water flows through pipe in the open. Mosquitoes are multiplying near it in the dirty water. The local administration has remained indifferent.

Fire is seen in the local electric transformer often. Belman Mescom officials need to pay attention. The tree branches that are leaning on the Anganwadi building are about to fall on the roof anytime. Anganwadi workers are living in fear with tiny tots.

However, gram panchayat president Varija has said that the matter has been discussed in panchayat meeting and the toilet problem will be solved soon.
