Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Jun 25: A day after IMA Jewels chief Mohammad Mansoor Khan spoke about jewellery and gold bullion kept in the lockers of his company IMA, Special Investigation Team (SIT) officials on Monday, June 24, conducted searches at his office on Lady Curzon Road in Shivajinagar here.

In an 18-minute video clip, Mansoor Khan had revealed that he had kept over 165 kgs of gold valuables and 600 kgs of bullion at the IMA office lockers, He also said he planned to return these items to his investors after coming back to India. Khan is believed to be living in Dubai.

A team of officials headed by DCP S Girish went to the office and recovered some valuables, including gold, property and bank documents and receipts from the office on Monday. The quantity and value of the recovered materials is yet to be revealed.

This is the second search by SIT at the same office after they recovered gold, diamond and other valuables worth Rs 20 crore from IMA offices at Jaya Nagar and Lady Curzon Road last Thursday.

The SIT is also verifying Khan's video to check his statements he had earlier presented to the police. "The SIT is aware of Khan's whereabouts and the investigation is heading in the right direction," said SIT chief Ravikanthe Gowda.

Efforts were being made to get Khan's custody for further investigation.

The SIT, through the passport office, has blocked Khan's passport to stop his movements and efforts are on to impound his passport.

Now everyone is trying to make the best of the available stock of gold and silver in the vault of the company.
If Mansoor comes back, either he will be killed or has to spend the rest of his life in prison.
It would be wise for Mansoor to stay abroad as far as possible, taking a cue from the Mallyas, Modis and Choksis. They know that in India only one is made scapegoat while others escape.

    Lord Brahma knows it all.

Mansoor is not the only person in this crime. There are several. If he comes back, he will made scapegoat and others will live happy lives. That is what I was saying.
I am not bothered what happens to Mansoor or others. I was just commenting on the topic.
