I join several others in congratulating the awardees of President's Police Medals. I have personally known Mr. Uday Nayak as one of the most efficient and honest Officers who was promoted and retired as additional superintendent of police of the district. Mr. Valentine D'Souza has also built a good name for himself as an honest and efficient officer. One of his rare traits is that he is a BODY BUILDER and has received several medals in this regard.

I have not had the pleasure of knowing personally Vinay A Gaonker and Sudhir M Hegde but by all accounts they have rendered yeomen service to the people in general
