Raichur, Jun 21: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), it may be recalled, had recently fined a passenger Rs 100 for not buying tickets for his hen. Now, an employee of the corporation had levied a fine of Rs 900 on a person travelling with some pigeons.

In the said case, the passenger who was forced to buy ticket for the poultry bird, had deposited it on a seat to assert that it is eligible for the privilege, having been made to buy a ticket.

A man who boarded KSRTC bus had a box containing pigeons with him. He had not bought any tickets for the pigeons.
