Bengaluru: D K Shivakumar to be state Congress chief from June 25?

Bengaluru, Jun 18: The future of minister D K Shivakumar, who is hell bent on attaining the dream post in the state politics will be decided on June 25. Rumours are making rounds in the state Congress circle that If Shivakumar passes the test on that day, he will be the kingmaker in state Congress.

On June 25, the verdict related to an IT case on Shivakumar will be given in the court of people’s representatives in the city. If the verdict favours minister D K Shivakumar he will heave a sigh of relief. There is high possibility that if DKS is cleared by the court, then he might be given the reigns of the state Congress.

News is also being heard that Dinesh Gundu Rao is being taken off from the post of president of KPCC and D K Shivakumar will be given that post for sure. D K Shivakumar dreams of becoming the chief minister of the state by bringing the Congress party to power on its own without any support under his tenure as KPCC president. D K Shivakumar is known as the trouble shooter by getting the candidates of Congress victorious even in trying times.

D K Shivakumar has made mega plans to occupy the chair of the chief minister by becoming the president of KPCC. However, he has said that he will not speak anything on this till June 25. Everything depends on the verdict of the court of people’s representatives on June 25.
