Media Release

Dubai, Jun 18: The 2nd Annual Sao Joao Pool Splash Party 2019 is making a resounding splash in Dubai on June 21. Organised by Buzz global, the day-long festival returns by popular demand after a roaring debut last year.

Year 2019’s celebrations are a family-friendly affair, kicking off at 3 pm and going strong till midnight. The venue’s huge pool is the centrepiece of the fun with water sprinkles, slides, castles, floaters and water guns adding to the festive flair.

It’s also a day of song and dance, with live music by Lynx - Goa’s Band of the Sand, flying in especially from Goa’s beaches. They are supported by Dubai’s leading local band, The Chorizos. DJ George and DJ Stanz are on turntable duties, belting out tunes through the day.

The licensed event hosts a fully-stocked bar, with exotic cocktails inspired by Goa’s beaches, all at specially discounted happy hour rates all day. Delicious mocktails and a selection of juices are also to hand. Meanwhile, food stalls offer up a variety of tasty local and international delicacies at specially discounted festive prices.

“We are thrilled to bring the Annual Sao Joao Pool Splash Party back to Dubai. As a global premier event company, we take pride in crafting big celebrations that give audiences exactly what they desire. And to mark Festa de São João, we've created a big bash that has all the ingredients for an exceptional day out. From poolside fun to spot prizes and very reasonably priced food and drink, we're making sure this is an event that families will remember for a long time,” said Desmond Fernandes, managing director of BUZZ global.

The dress code is pool party or summer casual, with free entrance throughout the day.
