Man smashed cake on pet lions face, apologizes for his actions

Iraq, Jun 18: The occasion of celebrating a birthday is a happy one. It follows cutting of cake or on the fun side smashing the cake on the face of the birthday boy or girl. Recently, a video surfaced which showed a person smashing the cake on the face of his pet lion.

The Kurdish man, Blend Brifkani, in a viral video is shown slamming the cake on the poor animals face. Alongside there are group of men who are laughing at the appalling act and making videos.

The lion can be seen trying to get away from the men and trying to clean his face with his paws. Blend Brifkani, is the head of a local NGO, The Kurdish American Cooperation Organization. As soon as the video garnered attention on the web he received a lot of backlash for his actions.

The video was shared by the Rajya Sabha MP, Parimal Nathani, on his twitter. He condemned the behaviour, it followed Actress, Raveena Tandon and several other netizens deeming the action inexcusable.

Actress Ranveena Tandon took to her twitter handle and captioned the video as, “Pathetic bunch of loser human b... hope they Rot in hell. Sometimes I do wish karma takes the form like our own Nagin movie,watch these a... die a writhing torturous death.” sharing her outrage over the inhumane act.

Following the backlash, Blend Brifkani apologized on his instagram handle in a long message where he stated that he regrets his action.
