Mangaluru: Induction ceremony held for freshers at Milagres College

Mangaluru, Jun 18: Vice president of Milagres Parish Pastoral Parishad, Cecilia Pereira, inaugurated the induction ceremony for the 1st year degree students for academic year 2019-2020 at Milagres College on Tuesday, June 18.

Addressing the gathering, Cecilia Pereira said, "I am very happy that you have selected Milagres institution for graduation studies. You have to make your own decisions and choose want you want to be. Education is a foundation, failure is not final, never stop your effort until you succeed."

"Milagres institution has a dynamic principal who understands you and guides you. We also have an experienced and friendly group of lecturers. I urge the students to make best use of these facilities. For the next three years in this college, work hard, face challenges and be positive," added Cecilia Pereira.

Correspondent of Milagres educational institution Fr Joseph Lobo said, "You have made a good decision by opting Milagres institution for your graduation studies. You have come here with a hope, a dream and clarity in mind. Never blame others for the choices you make, we blame because we are not ready to take the responsibility. I want students to take the responsibility for the choices they make. I wish all the best to all the students for the next three years in this institution.

Principal of Milagres College, Fr Micheal L Santhumayor welcomed the gathering, lecturer Chethana Kumari compered the event and vice-principal Cassin Rodrigues rendered the vote of thanks.

Academic advisor Lourdswamy and PTA president Lavina Lobo was also present for the inauguration ceremony.
