Annamalai visits Sabrimala, mingles with Ayyappa devotees: Watch video

Kochi, Jun 17: After his surprising resignation recently , former super cop ,Annamalai appeared in public as a devotee of Lord Ayyappa at Sabrimala on Monday, June 17.

Wearing black clothes with 'Irumudi Kett' Annamalai climbed 18 holy steps and got Darshan of Lord Ayyappa. He offered prayers in the temple as a normal devotee.

Soon after his offerings, some devotees recognized him and gathered around him for selfie photos. Annamalai mingled with the devotees and had chitchat with them who had gathered around him. He conveyed his wishes to them.

After getting the information about Annamalai’s visit to Sabrimala, the local Superintendent of police also arrived at the place and spoke to him.

Speaking to media Annamalai said "I had plans to visit Lord Ayyappa long back. But due to work pressure, I could not make it. Now I am free and found time to visit here. It is a great moment in my life. I am feeling happy and peaceful now,”

Annamalai had served in Karkala, Udupi, Chikkamagaluru and Bengaluru before his resigned with an intention to do social services. Some media had published reports that he would join politics soon.

    Respected Annamalai Kupusamy, BE (Mech), MBA (IIM Lucknow), IPS, was indeed an honoured visitor to Shabarimala.
    In addition to donning khaki, Annamalai is an enthusiastic philanthropist,a kite enthusiast, a cyclist, an athlete and a supporter of the Clean India campaign.
    Such great selfless people will be blessed abundantly by the Lord.
    Modi will surely invite him back to an elevated position in due course.

    Our country is totally ruled by politicians, celebrities and bureaurats. They enjoy life at the cost of commoners. If anybody asks for job chaiwala has only one answer fry pakoda

    He must be enjoying his life now as he must have spent sleepless nights in the dirty cop job.

    anyone who believes in Ayyappa, will go to Shabarimala
    there is no such special thing to highlight it.
    shabarimala has no such caste restrictions too
