Udupi, Jun 17: “Starting groups and organizations is easy, but making them grow is difficult. The organizations become strong only if the members are likeminded. Criticisms behind each programme are natural. We will succeed only if we accept the criticism as challenges,” said Catholic Sabha Udyavar unit president Lawrence D’Sa.

He addressed the hall programme of the screening of ‘Passport’ Konkani film at Udyavar St Francis Xavier church under the leadership of Nirantar Udyavar organization as chief guest.

Rajesh Fernandes Udyavar who has acted as comedy actor in several Konkani and Tulu films though employed in Kuwait was felicitated.

Udupi diocese chancellor Fr Stany B Lobo and 'Passport' Konkani film producer Fr Royson Fernandes who were on the dais conveyed their best wishes.

Nirantari organization president Steven Colaco welcomed the gathering. Programme convener Judith Pereira rendered the vote of thanks. Roshan D’Souza compered the programme.

Organization members Michael D’Souza, Roshan Crasta, Ronald D’Souza, Sunil D’Souza, Anil D’Souza, Julia D’Souza, Savita D’Souza, Olivera Mathais and Cinthia Noronha were present.

Several priests, nuns and more than 500 people watched the film.
