Mangaluru: LCS celebrates platinum birthday of Fr Wilson L Vitus D’Souza

Mangaluru, Jun 17: Lourdes Central School (LCS) celebrated the platinum birthday of manager Fr Wilson L Vitus D’Souza. The programme began with the prayer song.

Lolita Mascarenhas greeted Fr Manager on behalf of the staff. The deputy head boy Rion Jayden Valdar wished Fr Manager on behalf of the student community. He recalled to mind the services rendered by Fr to students especially those who were economically backward regardless of caste or creed.

Principal Fr Robert D’Souza reminded the Lourdites that Fr Manager has served Lourdes Central School in various capacities since inception. Fr Principal wished the Manager a long life filled with joy, health and happiness.

The class representatives from KG to class XII greeted Fr Manager with saplings and flowers as the school choir sang the Birthday song.



Fr Manager expressed his happiness to be with the student family on the occasion of his birthday. He praised and thanked God for the innumerable favours and blessings showered on him. He advised students to protect nature for their own future and to do good to all.

Club activities for 2019-20 were inaugurated by the lighting the lamp by Fr Manager, Fr Principal, vice principal Belita Mascarenhas, Chandini and members of the cabinet.

The programme was ably compered by Riarita D’Souza and Shannon Pais of class X.
