Mangaluru, Jun 15: “Be graduates that provide good creative contribution to the society,” said Mangaluru university chancellor Dr P S Yadapadittaya. He was speaking after inaugurating seventh convocation programme of Beary’s Institute of Technology and releasing the college souvenir at Mangala auditorium of the university on Saturday, June 15.

“It is commendable that the institute has grown in prestige, discipline and educational values in the leadership of Sayyed Mohammed Beary. Students should indulge in peace, harmony and protection of environment that has become our support,” he called.

Bengaluru Indian institute of Science director advisor Profesoor B N Raghunandan was the chief orator. Beary’s Academy of Learning president Sayyed Mohammed Beary presided over the programme. BIT polytechnic director Dr Azeez Musthafa, Dr Mustafa Bastikodi, Basavaraj, Purushotham, BIT Media communication division head Dr Abdulla Gubbi and heads of various other departments were present. BIT principal Dr P Mahabaleshwarappa welcomed.
