Mangaluru: AYUDH members spread awareness on World Environment Day

Media Release

Mangaluru, Jun 15: On the occasion of World Environment Day, AYUDH members ventured out to spread awareness towards the alarming problem of climate change.

AYUDH members, instead of planting trees themselves, decided to hand out free saplings to about 200 houses in Mangaluru.

They were persistent in their deed and residents congratulated the members for taking up a bright initiative, they said that these initiatives are much more productive than mundane political campaigns.

The members brought home with them the satisfaction of doing something good for nature, but also, they discerned the views of common people on climate change. It was with great insight as AYUDHians analysed that most people have the intention to fight against the disruption of the environment, it is just that they do not know how to get involved.
