Woman gets molester nabbed by recording him as he flashes his genitalia

Mumbai, May 13: A 23-year-old woman residing in Thane, managed to get her molester nabbed by recording a video of him flashing his genitalia in an ATM kiosk.

On the wee hours of May 12, the woman travelling in an auto, asked the driver to stop it in Hari Om Nagar road ATM in Mulund (East) as she wanted money to pay him.

While she tried withdrawing the money, a person suddenly entered the kiosk and offered to pay the driver. He then started touching her inappropriately and flashed his private parts. Meanwhile, the woman instead of panicking took out her mobile phone and started recording the incident.

The pervert fled the spot as soon as he saw the camera, while the woman showed the mobile video to cops patrolling in the area.

The cops started chasing the accused and nabbed him in a kilometre’s distance. “I go the police station and they have already informed me that they have the guy in custody. He's crying and pleading. But I knew I had to take action against him. So along with my dad, I filed an FIR against him. He claimed to be drunk at the time, which does not excuse his actions at all. What he did, was scary and terrifying. This was a locality wherein I felt safe. But he has ruined it for me. I can't walk the streets feeling the same sense of safety. AND THIS IS MY HOME! (sic),” reads her note on Instagram along with the photo of the accused.

The incident has now become viral and many are appreciating the woman for her bravery.
