After that I became a close follower of Rebimbus family and still continue with it. Though we lost Wilfy early, he lives with us through his songs. His family is continuing the mission which Wilfy started and today we are going to witness its continuity and richness. I thank Meena and entire Rebimbus family for felicitation and wish them all success in their future endowers.”

Remembering late Wilfy, Felix Lobo said, “Wilfy is one of the rare persons who dedicated his entire life for the cause of Konkani music. He was the pioneer of Konkani music and he started a musical era in Konkani. Being a simple and noble person, he won the hearts of his fellow artistes and audience. Through music he also began social reform in his own way. His many songs are purely based on the messages of social concern. Now he is not with us. But his family is continuing his mission. It is our responsibility to join them and support their projects.”

Meena Rebimbus felicitated dignitaries with mementos. Arthur Pais welcomed the dignitaries and gathering. Konkani’s well-known writer and emcee CGS Taccode compered the first part of the event.
