Udupi: CM Kumaraswamy's car inspected by EC officials

Udupi, April 22: The car, in which the chief minister of the state H D Kumaraswamy was travelling, was subjected to thorough inspection near the Hosangadi check post near Siddapur by the election officers on duty on Sunday, April 21.

The CM was on the way to Kaup of the district after partaking in the election campaign in Shivamogga. Hosangadi check post is on the border of Kundapur taluk.

In fact, Kumaraswamy was on his way to Muloor, where he reached on the night of Sunday to undergo nature therapy as he was engrossed in the hectic campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections for the past one and a half months.

It is learnt that the CM is going to reside for three days in Sairadha guest house of Muloor under the limits of Kaup town municipality for the naturopathy treatment. The CM has kept the media at bay. Strict police protection and vigil is provided around the guest house where the CM is residing.

    Foolishness. What can EC officers find when all the evidence was "used up" while campaigning and the vehicle was thoroughly cleansed.
