Mangaluru Apr 16: Udupi district-in-charge minister Jayamala has termed the forthcoming LS election as a battle between ‘truth vs lie’ and ‘asli vs nakli’.

Addressing media here on Tuesday, April 16, Jayamala questioned, "Why should we vote for BJP? Should we vote for a government that makes false promises? Five year Modi led NDA government has confused the people of the country.”

Reacting to controversial remarks on women by C T Ravi, Jayamala said," C T Ravi has passed derogatory comments on women during a rally at Chikkamagaluru. Do you (C T Ravi) need only women to criticize? Even his own mother can’t forgive him for his remarks. Is it your tongue or sandals that spoke?” she questioned CT Ravi. She also questioned BJP, "Are you asli or nakli?"

“We will complain to election commission about C T Ravi’s remarks. We will also give him two books about mother so that he can gain knowledge about the importance of a mother. Through courier we will send him the books,” she said.

"Modi has skyrocketed the price of gas cylinder and fooled us. Modi spends 51% of funds for advertisements to glorify his projects and schemes. IT is raiding the residence of Congress and JD(S). Meanwhile, suitcase is being carried in Modi’s plane. What is there in that suitcase?” questioned Jayamala.

Mangaluru, Apr 16: UPA never used surgical strike for political gains like NDA, lashed out MLC C M Ibrahim.

Addressing media here on Tuesday, April 16, C M Ibrahim said, "Surgical strike is the internal matter of army which is kept as confidential. Surgical Strike had not started after Modi came to power. Wars with Pakistan took place even before Modi was born. Modi has misused the army’s internal matter. That is why Yeddyurappa has passed remarks that BJP will gain 22 seats through airstrike. During UPA tenure 27 surgical strikes took place, which we never used for political gains BJP riles up sensitive issues and play political games through it.”

He also said, “None of the BJP candidate ask vote for them, but they ask vote in the name of Modi. In North Karnataka instead of chanting Modi, people say Hogi Hogi (Go Go). In the BJPs manifesto they only mention about Ram Mandir. During Siddaramaiah time we have fulfilled all the promises made in the manifesto. Congress are the ones who give rice, milk to the poor. Even a poor can fill his stomach with Rs 10.”

"Modi has 56 inch chest then why the price of petrol, diesel and gas cylinder skyrocketed. Manmohan Singh has only 40 inches so the prices was very low. Those who criticise Indira Gandhi, Nehru are not anti nationals or traitors, but those who criticise Modi then they are labelled as anti nationals and traitors. Nowadays only Modi and Amit Shah's photo can be seen in the posters, there is not a single photo of Advani and Vajpayee. Am confident Modi will not be Prime minister again, there will coalition government in the centre and in the state JDS - Congress will win in high majority," said C M Ibrahim.

He also said, "District MP has spoken to stop the Vijaya Bank merger. Regard to rafale the contract was given to Ambani who did not even have a factory of a toy. The files of rafale was missing , what kind of chowkidar Modi is. BJP questions what Congress gave?, Congress gave Indira Gandhi, Nehru, Rajiv Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka, BJP gave Nirav Modi, Lalit Modi, Choksi and at last Narendra Modi and they sidelined Murli Manohar Joshi, Advani and many other leaders.

MLC Ivan D Souza, Congress leaders Vishwas Das, Udupi district in charge minister Jayamala and others were present.

This is the dismal track record of the BJP. We as citizens feel ashamed that our PM is a habitual Liar and indulges in only falsehoods. Not a word he utters of his five years rule.

"The Modi government has been a failure on all fronts and has inflicted pain and misery on the people through its reckless decisions of demonetisation and hasty imposition of a flawed GST, demonetization and GST disrupted the economy, trade and industry, led to closure of lakhs of factories and tens of millions of workers lost their jobs and livelihood. The unprecedented joblessness, agrarian crisis and distress of farmers and agricultural laborers are issues of grave national concern. The Modi government is guilty of monumental mismanagement of the Indian economy.

No accountability at all for corruption during the last five years. Corruption has become rampant across the country. After the next Govt is formed all the skeletons in the BJP vast array of hidden cupboards will be exposed including the Rafale Scam.

Modi Sarkar Ko Hatao. Desh Ko Bachao. They should be made accountable for over 100 deaths in ATM Ques after the Demoitisation.

The use of Tele Pompters by the PM has exposed the facade of the PM being an extempore speaker. No doubt he has not given one press interview in these five years. Ony Jhumla.
