Mangaluru: No Modi ‘wave’ in district, but ‘tsumani’ – MP Nalin Kumar Kateel

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (ANK)

Mangaluru, Apr 16: Sitting MP Nalin Kumar Kateel on Tuesday, April 16 said that it is not BJP workers, but the voters of the district are working in favour of Narendra Modi.

Addressing media here, Nalin said, "The preparation for the upcoming elections is in full swing since three months. I have conducted four rounds of campaigning in the constituency. Even BJP workers are conducting door-to-door campaigning. I am contesting the elections for the third time. In the year 2009, I was a newbie. Sixteen years prior to being an MP, I worked as a representative in the party.

“Modi wave can be seen in the district. Now, not BJP workers, but voters in the district are working for Narendra Modi. Even Modi was privileged to see the crowd in the rally, which was above expectation. It was not a wave, but a tsunami. People of district have whole heartedly accepted the administration of Modi. People also have faith in me that I am committed towards work bringing in funds for the district. I am confident that Modi will be the prime minister for the second term,” he said.

When queried about SDPI contesting the election which might benefit BJP, Nalin said, “No, it will not be an advantage. During the last elections, SDPI withdrew their nomination. That should have been advantage for Congress which was not and BJP turned victorious.”

‘Nalin completed two terms without any allegation of corruption’

Addressing media Vedavyas Kamath, MLA, Mangaluru South said, “The first change brought in administration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is that it abolished corruption completely. Nalin Kumar Kateel who represents Dakshina Kannada also completed his two terms without any allegations of corruption.”

“Through demonetisation, Modi succeeded to stop the flow of black money throughout the country. He took strong stand against corruption and illegal businesses. Because of this, anti nationals got weakened and the common man got more benefits. Various projects of the union government brought revolutionary changes in various sectors. The developmental graph of our country has risen.

“Meanwhile in Dakshina Kannada, our representative Nalin Kumar Kateel succeeded to implement all projects of the union government. He never entertained corruption and stood away from these things. There is no increase in his assets and bank balance. It shows his dedicated social service.

“There is no doubt in Nalin Kumar Kateels victory. The number of votes by which he will win will increase this time. We all are waiting for May 23 to celebrate his and party’s victory,” he said.

'Nalin will win with double majority’

Speaking to mediapersons, Umanath Kotian, MLA, Moodbidri said, “After independence, for the first time Moodbidri constituency elected a BJP representative in the last election. I won the election with a margin of 19,000 votes. In this Lok Sabha election, people of Moodbidri will give double majority to Nalin Kumar Kateel. He is getting huge support from every corner of the district.

“In his 10-year tenure, he got only five years to serve people. During the time of his first tenure, UPA government was there at the centre. No funds were released to the district that time. But when Modi came to power, our district got more projects and all are under progress. We need another five years to complete the pending projects. People of Dakshina Kannada know it and surely they will elect Nalin as MP again.

“After arrival of Modi to the district, more people turned towards BJP. Now we can see Modi wave everywhere. There is no opponent to BJP in the district,” he said.

Kishore Kumar Rai, Sandhya Venkatesh, Prabha Malini were present.

    Jhumla is laid bare below.

"The Modi government has been a failure on all fronts and has inflicted pain and misery on the people through its reckless decisions of demonetisation and hasty imposition of a flawed GST, demonetization and GST disrupted the economy, trade and industry, led to closure of lakhs of factories and tens of millions of workers lost their jobs and livelihood. The unprecedented joblessness, agrarian crisis and distress of farmers and agricultural laborers are issues of grave national concern. The Modi government is guilty of monumental mismanagement of the Indian economy.

No accountability at all for corruption during the last five years. Corruption has become rampant across the country. After the next Govt is formed all the skeletons in the BJP vast array of hidden cupboards will be exposed including the Rafale Scam.

Modi Sarkar Ko Hatao. Desh Ko Bachao. They should be made accountable for over 100 deaths in ATM Ques after the Demoitisation.

Tsunami makes life miserable for all. People loose their life, their livelihood and their homes.
Is this what this man is referring to?
Didn't we have enough problems due to the inefficiencies of such representatives?
Time to choose an MP who will bring about development to the constituency with hard work and a vision and not somebody who is going to wait for someone else to do his work.

Really sad. Our MP seems to have forgotten that people choose the MP and not PM. If Mangalore is having a Modi tsunami, then what exactly has Nalil Kateel done for Mangalore? It should be the good work of MP that one needs to see and not the PM who is unreachable to the general people.

Please people, elect a right MP and dont just go by the PM candidate. If we choose a wrong MP, then even the best PM will be unable to get development to our city.

Last 5 years Modi visited Mangalore and sorted out the issues of Mangalore through his Ministers. Last 10 years, how many times Nalin has taken up the issues of Mangalore to the PM of India. We require MP's like late Srinivas Mallya who had level to take up Mangalore issues including development with the, then PM Jawahar Lal Nehru.
Mithun is always reachable and will win with more than one lakh vote difference.

This fellow should talk about what he has done. If he is looking up to his saviour all the time, what is his role? If he is so sure that he will be saved by Modi always, then he will never work for the constituency. Because he feels even if he doesn't work, he will be rescued by Modi. This sort of complacency is dangerous. We have seen how he has enjoyed without putting in any effort, so why not give someone else a chance? Someone who is very eager to do well. Remember, a new broom sweeps well. Modi is not going to come here and work. The local representative should be efficient. We have seen how ineffective this Nalin has been. Let him take rest for five years. We will see how Mithun works. If he doesn't perform well, we will replace him after his term. Now give him a chance. I am sure being educated and young, he will be eager to give a good account of himself. Go for Mithun. Think of the city and not the party.

This time again BJP in dakshina kannada. most of the voters don't care whether there is development or no development. Poll strategy in india should be blended with "Hindutva and a promising fight against corruption and some masala to attract the voters." BJP has all these and any politically literate person can predict that they will WIN again.

Former Prime Minister P V Narsimha Rao introduced economic reforms and took the economy from 3 per cent to 9 per cent, while Rajiv Gandhi's tenure saw a phenomenal 14 per cent industrial growth but both lost the polls badly.

Economic development is a must, but you can win the polls (even) if the development is flattened.

Hitler ruled Germany 'n nearly destroyed it. The following are some of his characteristics :

    1. Hitler did not marry.
    2. Hitler had a belief that people of a certain religion were enemies of the nation.
    3. Hitler’s supporters could not tolerate any criticism of Hitler.
    5. All types of media e.g. newspapers, magazines were used to promote him.
    6. He crushed all his opponents and would always call them anti-nationals/traitors.
    9. Hitler’s campaign promise was that he would end all problems in a jiffy.
    10. No problems were solved after he came to power, but he certainly managed to destroy Germany.
    11. His campaign slogan was – "gute tage kommen" (good days will come).
    14. Hitler used to love dressing up to look good.
    15. Hitler had the consummate art of making lies look like truth.
    17. Hitler used to love giving speeches on Radio.
    19. Hitler always used in his speeches “Freunde, Brüder und Schwestern” (friends, brothers and sisters).
    20. Hitler used to love getting photographed.

    -----------------------------------
P.S: This post is just about Hitler.

"if you want to join the main stream then.vote for bjp" = 34 other businessmen too have fled India along with Nirav and Mallya

Prabhu Maam... we are better off being in the country. You vote for Modi and one day flee along with the 34 others. Don't expect any additional votes than who are already Modi-Bhakths.

He doesn't have guts to stand up in the Parliament and talk in favour of our district. His Kannada/Tulu doesn't work at the center. Please BJPeans, think before you vote.

You a an undeserved candidate for the Lok Sabha.
    1) Low education.
    2) Tulu and Kannada are not enough to Delhi.
    3) How after firing D.K. District you can become a candidate of LS
    4) Shutting down Karnataka within half an hour, how you can contest in LS after shutting down.
    5) What are your works to Mangalore constituency just licking the legs of Kalladka?
