Married man, minor girl commit suicide in Beltangady

Daijiworld Media Network - Beltangady(DC)

Beltangady, Apr 16: A couple allegedly committed suicide at Sudemugeru within Beltangady town panchayat limits here on the night of Sunday April 14.

The deceased have been identified as Kiran Kumar (29) and a 16-year-old minor girl. They were staying in a rented house.

Kiran had married another woman of another religion and divorced her earlier, it is said.

Kiran then reportedly met Laveena, fell in love and married her. Laveena is from Banakal. The minor girl who was a relative of Laveena too was staying with them at a rented house. Laveena had objected her husband roaming around in his bike with the minor girl. This sparked a dispute between them and on April 14, Laveena fought with her husband.

Kiran also kicked her out of the house. Laveena though came to Beltangady station, could not lodge a complaint against him. Later she had gone to her relative's house. On Monday when Laveena came to her house, she found her husband and the minor dead.

Kiran was working as a mechanic in a garage. It is learnt that he did not share a cordial relationship with his family and only recently gone home to attend his sister's wedding.

Post mortems of the bodies were performed at Beltangady government hospital.

A Christian boy must marry a Christian girl.
A Hindu boy must marry a Hindu girl.
A Buddhist boy must marry a Buddhist girl.
A Muslim boy must marry a Muslim girl.
This will end doubts on each other faith and religion
Will end frictions in between faiths and religions.
Committing suicide is not an end. RIP to both.

The Bible says: Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
A man cannot sail two boats one leg in one boat, the other leg on another boat.
For an arguments sake you can mention that yes. I do. but possibly very hard to lead life. So marrying from the same faith the bonds of inherited DNA supports strongly.

@Alphonse R Udipi,a must is not necessary.Everyone can marry whoom he /SHE wants and love.Must marry is like previously parents were ordering and he had to .one wants or not.Harmony in marraige is not there in such marraiges. This man I think had some problem with girls,or girls had with him.one must learn to love or harmony with each other ,forgive and accept ones mistake.

Its heartbreaking to see such two precious life is been lost , they must have guts to face society and carve their own destiny . Kiran should have registered his marriage under Islamic laws , as girl below 18 can marry under the dissolution act 1939 ( if she consents as she is above puberty ) , and he should have convinced his previous wife to stay with him , as POLYGAMY stands legal once you regiister under this act . Even if things go haywire its better face some shiet term jail , rather than ending life . May God do justice with these souls .
